I think it’s safe to say that Hope is one of the most popular elephants at the park. He has a mischievous smile that he follows up with naughty actions.
The river is flooded in this season and Hope thinks it’s funny to make Gorn, one of his mahouts swim across the river to fetch him. He always takes off his pants and swim in his undies.. but I don’t know why because his pants get soaked when he puts them back on anyway.
With the strong current, Gorn usually ends up at least 200 metres down the river and has to walk back up. By the time he reaches where Hope was, the naughty elephant usually finds it a good time to swim back to our side of the river. So then Gorn has to swim back to our side. 
Gorn goes through a series of training commands with Hope after bath time everyday.
He gets bananas if he follows through with the commands. (Look at him with his eyes closed! It makes the bananas look super delicious. haha)
